Elko/New Market House Windrose Curve 04-20-18
At 1413 Hours on Friday April 20th 2018. Elko/New Market Fire was alerted of a structure fire with large flames visable per the caller. The caller could hear a dog barking inside and no one was answering the door. Elko/New Market Chief 1 went enroute and immediately requested a 2nd alarm with a large black smoke plume visable from miles out. Chief 1 arrived and reported a fully engulfed dwelling fire and requested the station respond with the ladder truck 1st. Lakeville Stations 1 and 4 were started on the 2nd alarm. Elko Ladder 1 arrived and positioned them selves on the alpha side in front of the structure and raised there stick for a defensive attack due to the volume of Fire. Elko Engine 1 arrived and deployed multiple hand lines including blitz Fire nozzles around the structure. as additional crews arrived they were assisted onscene crews and rotated out. one camper in the drive way as well as a neighboring Bravo side exposure experience heat damage. (The photos are in no particular order as I operate with 2 different cameras)
